Frequently asked questions about StreamHero.


General

What platforms does StreamHero support?

StreamHero supports YouTube VODs (including Shorts and Live replays) and Twitch VODs. We're working on additional platform support.

How long does analysis take?

Analysis typically takes 3–8 minutes depending on the length of your stream. A 2-hour VOD usually completes in about 5 minutes.

Can I analyze a stream that's still live?

Not yet. StreamHero requires a complete VOD recording. We're exploring live analysis as a future feature.

What languages are supported?

The AI performs best on English-language streams. Voice analysis and transcription work in over 20 languages, but coaching tips are currently English-only.


Account & billing

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. The Free plan requires only an email address — no payment info needed.

How does the free tier work?

Free accounts can run 1 analysis every 12 hours and see up to 3 highlights and 4 potential moments per stream. All other features (style analysis, voice metrics, title suggestions) are included.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your analyses, clips, and reports are retained for 90 days after cancellation. After that, they are permanently deleted.


Technical

Why is my job stuck in "pending"?

If a job stays pending for more than 5 minutes, it may have failed silently. Try re-submitting the URL. If the problem persists, contact support.

My clip video isn't loading. What should I do?

Clip videos are publicly hosted and should load instantly once processing is complete. If a clip shows "completed" but won't play, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, contact support.

Can I re-analyze a stream?

If a previous analysis failed, you can re-submit the same URL. If the previous analysis succeeded, the system will detect the duplicate and show you the existing result.


Privacy

Is my stream content stored on your servers?

StreamHero processes your stream in a temporary pipeline — we do not permanently store the raw video. Only the analysis report, clip metadata, and generated video clips are retained.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
