Getting started

Welcome to StreamHero! This guide walks you through analyzing your first stream in under 5 minutes.

1. Create your account

Go to streamhero.app/signup and sign up with your email. No credit card required for the free tier.

2. Go to your dashboard

After signing in, you'll land at /app. This is where you submit streams and see your analysis history.

3. Choose your streamer style (optional)

Before submitting, select your streaming style from the selector at the top of the dashboard. This helps the AI calibrate its tone coaching to your persona:

• Chill — relaxed, conversational
• Energetic — high energy, hype-focused
• Educational — tutorial, guide-heavy content
• Storyteller — narrative-driven streams

You can change this at any time — it won't affect historical analyses.

4. Submit a VOD URL

Paste a public VOD URL from YouTube or Twitch into the submit form:

• YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID or youtu.be/VIDEO_ID
• Twitch VOD: twitch.tv/videos/VOD_ID

Press Analyze stream and you'll see the job appear in your stream list immediately.

5. Wait for analysis to complete

Processing typically takes a few minutes depending on stream length. You'll see a live progress indicator — no need to refresh.

6. Review your results

Click the stream in your list to open the analysis dashboard. You'll find:

• Insights — Voice analysis, style breakdown, scene metrics, and title suggestions
• Clips — Auto-generated highlight clips and potential moments
